Award for the step into the USA

On 28 November 2024, the MinGenTec initiative, the network for mining and energy technology in Lusatia, held its network meeting in Cottbus. In the Lausitz Goes International competition, companies from the region present concepts for new markets abroad. pyropower received an award for its plan to introduce the Pyro-ClinX in the USA together with a partner. The prize money goes into market analysis, consulting and travel.

The case for the US market

In the USA, forestry and the wood industry produce large quantities of residual wood, and many businesses need a reliable supply of electricity and heat. The Pyro-ClinX meets this need: it uses residues on site and also produces biochar. The award has encouraged us to pursue this path step by step.
