Two awards in one evening

On 19 September 2024, the final of the STAR*PARADE, the start-up competition of the Lausitz region, took place in the Audimax of BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. Lucie Töpfer and Sebastian Kießling presented pyropower on stage. The jury honoured us in the Innovation and Sustainability category. We also received the SHOOTING*STAR audience award, which is decided by a vote of the guests in the hall.

Residual wood, electricity and biochar in a few minutes

The talk addressed the question that drives us every day: how woody residues can be turned into electricity, heat and biochar on site. To do this, the Pyro-ClinX combines pyrolysis and a micro gas turbine in one plant. We were particularly pleased that the jury and the audience were equally convinced.
