At the start of the Ostdeutsches Wirtschaftsforum 2026 (East German Economic Forum, OWF) in Bad Saarow, rbb television reported on pyropower in its regional news programme Brandenburg aktuell. The occasion was the VORSPRUNG business award, which pyropower received in May 2026.

Filming in our production facility
The rbb team filmed the report in our production facility in Cottbus, showing how the Pyro-ClinX is built. At the forum in Bad Saarow, Sebastian Kießling, co-founder and managing director, gave the interview and explained how the plant converts residual wood into electricity, heat and biochar.

The VORSPRUNG business award
pyropower received the VORSPRUNG 2026 on 5 May 2026 at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin. The award of the East German Economic Forum goes to six companies, one from each East German federal state plus one start-up. The jury highlighted the importance of the Pyro-ClinX for industry and energy security. More in our media coverage of VORSPRUNG 2026.
Production in Cottbus
In our production facility, the Pyro-ClinX plants are built in steel construction. The reactor, combustion chamber, high-temperature heat exchanger and micro gas turbine are assembled here. Production is designed for series manufacturing and grows with demand.
