Regional media on the award

On 28 November 2025, the Innovationspreis Berlin-Brandenburg (Berlin-Brandenburg Innovation Award) was presented in Wildau. pyropower was one of the five winners. Cottbus Daily: climate transition made in Cottbus

Cottbus Daily reported on the award on 1 December 2025. The article by Vanessa Lettow explains the Pyro-ClinX, which converts residual wood into electricity, heat and biochar, and places the award in a regional context: the Innovation Award goes to five companies from Berlin and Brandenburg each year, and the fact that one of them comes from Cottbus shows the innovative strength of Lusatia. Lucie Töpfer is quoted on her pleasure at the recognition by the jury.

Niederlausitz aktuell: award ceremony in Wildau

Niederlausitz aktuell published a detailed report on the ceremony in Wildau on 29 November 2025. It names all five winners and the nominees, places the award within the joint innovation strategy of the states of Berlin and Brandenburg, and reports more than 100 applications. On pyropower, it describes the Pyro-ClinX and reports the reaction of the management to the award.

The significance of the award for customers

For companies and municipalities planning a pyrolysis plant, an independently assessed technology award is an important signal. The jury evaluates novelty, technical maturity and market potential. The Pyro-ClinX is ready for series production, is manufactured in Cottbus and runs in regular operation at customer sites.
