AWARD LAUSITZ START-UP COMPETITION – STAR*PARADE 2024
We are delighted to announce that our GreenTech startup has won two major awards at STAR*PARADE 2024: the category prize in Innovation & Sustainability and the Audience Award out of 50 participating companies. This recognition from the jury and audience marks an important milestone for our decarbonization technologies and our contribution to the energy transition.
The focus of our innovative approach is clearly Pyro-ClinX, which is powered by an externally fired micro gas turbine (EFGT). This pioneering energy system converts unused waste materials into sustainable energy, both in the form of electricity and heat. Through this process, we are actively contributing to decarbonization by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting the transition to a climate-neutral economy. In addition, our process captures carbon from the atmosphere in the form of biochar, which is stored in the soil, helping to improve soil quality and store carbon in the long term.
The STAR*PARADE not only offered our #TEAMGREENENERGY a platform to present our holistic decarbonization portfolio, but also a valuable opportunity to network with other Lusatian start-ups from various industries. In an inspiring environment, we exchanged feedback, made contacts with new partners and were inspired by the creative ideas of our colleagues. The evening ended with a cozy get-together where participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen new connections.
