PYROPOWER GMBH HONORED AS STATE WINNER BRANDENBURG AT THE KFW AWARD “FOUNDING”!
On the evening of November 7, 2024, pyropower GmbH was honored in Berlin with the prestigious KfW Award “Gründen” as the state winner for Brandenburg! This award, which honors innovative start-up teams from all federal states, is a valuable milestone in our still young company history and a significant recognition of our work. As a dynamic company in the GreenTech sector, we are constantly working on solutions for decarbonization and are shaping a sustainable path for the energy transition with our technology. With our main product, the Pyro-ClinX system, we are setting new standards in terms of sustainability, efficiency and climate protection – and that makes us very proud!
THE AWARD: A CLEAR MISSION FOR A GREEN FUTURE
The aim of the KfW Award is to recognize start-ups that create sustainable solutions for the future with innovative concepts. Our Pyro-ClinX system is a self-sufficient energy system that generates green electricity, green heat and biochar from biogenic waste materials. This technology is not only CO₂-neutral, but also has a positive impact on the climate, as the biochar produced stores carbon in the long term. This means that every use of our pyrolysis CHP unit makes an active contribution to decarbonization.
In a single process, Pyro-ClinX provides electricity and heat while simultaneously producing valuable biochar. This biochar can be used as a sustainable raw material in numerous areas and at the same time helps to reduce CO₂ emissions – an approach that is pioneering throughout the industry. The fact that this technology has now been honored with the KfW Award encourages our #TEAMGREENENERGY to continue full steam ahead on the path to a carbon-free future.
PYRO-CLINX: A UNIQUE PYROLYSIS CHP UNIT FOR THE ENERGY TRANSITION.
With an electrical output of 150 kW, the Pyro-ClinX system offers companies a unique opportunity to make their energy supply independent and sustainable. Through the efficient conversion of biogenic residues into electricity in combination with the use of biochar, pyropower GmbH promotes the transformation towards a climate-neutral and at the same time economically viable energy supply. We offer these transformation concepts in particular to companies that want to position themselves for the future through CO₂-neutral processes. Our Pyro-ClinX pyrolysis CHP plant is more than just a technical system – it is a solution for companies that want to play an active role in shaping the energy transition.
With our expertise and our individually developed transformation concepts, we provide companies with targeted support to reduce CO₂ emissions and operate cost-efficiently at the same time. By 2030, we want to save more than 50,000 tons of CO₂ with Pyro-ClinX – a goal that we are pursuing with passion and innovation.
